This is a higher magnification version of one of the best nature viewing binoculars available and an excellent size for travel. (Remember: not everyone can coomfortably holds a 10x binocular steady, since it also magnifies our breathing/heart beat vibration to a greater extent).The brightness of a 32mm binocular will be bright enough for most lighting conditions except for really dark woodsy conditions. The 42mm Zeiss Victory SF would be brighter in those conditions.
